has gloss	eng: The British Quiz Association (BQA) is a now-dormant umbrella group of Quizzers in the UK best known to stage a "British Quiz Championships" from 2001 to 2003 (and unsuccessfully 2004). Chris Jones and Jane Allens company Quizzing Ltd. now via Quizzing.co.uk runs the follow-up British Quizzing Championships (BQC). Quizzing Ltd. has also taken over the old name British Quiz Association/BQA but doesn't run events under that name any more.
