has gloss	eng: Innogy Nordsee 1 is a proposal for a large wind farm off Germany's coast. The planned offshore installation is to be built 40 kilometers north of the island of Juist, within an area of around 150 km² and in water 26-34 meters deep. Between 150 and 180 wind turbines with a capacity of 5-6 megawatts (MW) will be used. Approval for the project is expected by the end of 2009 and initial preparations could then start in 2010. The first wind turbines could start running as early as 2011. The aim is to complete the wind farm in 2015 at a total investment of around €2.8 billion (US $3.72 billion).
