has gloss	hin: जरी, सोने का पानी चढ़ा हुआ चाँदी का तार है तथा इस तार से बने वस्त्र भी जरी कहलाते हैं। जरी वस्त्र सोरे, चाँदी तथा रेशम अथवा तीनों प्रकार के तारों के मिश्रण से बनता है। इन तारों की सहायता से बेलबूटे तथा उभाड़दार अभिकल्प बनाए जाते हैं। बुनकर बुनाई के समय इन तारों का उपयोग अतिरिक्त बाने के रूप में करता है और इनसे केवल अभिकल्प ही बनाए जाते हैं।
