| has gloss | ell: Η αλυσίβα είναι ένα αλκαλικό διάλυμα που παρασκευάζεται με το βράσιμο του νερού μαζί με στάχτη από καμένα ξύλα. Συνίσταται δε να χρησιμοποιείται βρόχινο νερό. Στα παλαιότερα χρόνια τη χρησιμοποιούσαν για τη λεύκανση των ρούχων, αλλά και αντί για σαπούνι και για το λούσιμο (ειδικά για λιπαρά μαλλιά). Η αλυσίβα έχει καθαριστικές ιδιότητες λόγω του ανθρακικού καλίου που προσλαμβάνει από τη στάχτη και το οποίο έχει την ικανότητα αυτό να διαλύει τα έλαια και τα λίπη γενικά όχι όμως και ορυκτέλαια (γράσο, παραφίνες, βαζελίνη κλπ.). |
