has gloss	eng: The International Association of Conference Interpreters (AIIC – Association internationale des interprètes de conférence) is the only organisation that represents the interests of conference interpreters all over the world. Since being founded in 1953, its membership has grown and now numbers more than 2,800 conference interpreters in over 90 countries. AIIC members interpret in a variety of spheres, including business, politics, the media and international organisations.
